Aaron Elking is a non-equity shareholder who represents employers and insurance carriers in defending workers’ compensation claims in Missouri and Illinois.
Mr. Elking obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated summa cum laude, and he earned his Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
While at University of Missouri-Kansas City, Mr. Elking was a writer on both the UMKC Law Review and Urban Lawyer, president of the sports & entertainment law society, and a Dean’s List recipient each year. Mr. Elking also clerked for the United States District Court of Missouri – Western District and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Prior to joining the St. Louis office of McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, Mr. Elking had practiced in the areas of civil litigation, real estate and foreclosures, and sports and entertainment.
Mr. Elking currently resides in St. Louis City. He is an avid Cardinals and Mizzou fan. In his spare time, Mr. Elking enjoys playing and coaching sports, spending time with friends and family and trying to find the best bacon cheeseburger in America.
