Christopher Moberg’s practice is focused on defending employers and insurers in a variety of areas, including workers’ compensation, labor and employment, and contract defense. Mr. Moberg is experienced in handling disputes from initial investigation, through formal discovery, trial and appeal. He has defended more than a thousand worker’s compensation cases in southern Missouri, and is also licensed in Arkansas, where he practices worker’s compensation defense, exclusively.
Mr. Moberg graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Earth Science from Central Missouri State University and was the recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Award. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law and was the recipient of the John L. Sheridan Award for Most Outstanding Oralist. During law school, Mr. Moberg was an officer in both the Environmental Law Society and the Health Law Society, and interned at the Environmental Protection Agency.
After graduating in 2005, Mr. Moberg relocated from Kansas City to southwest Missouri to practice law. In 2008 he was honored to orally argue an employment discrimination case before the United States Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit. Mr. Moberg regularly speaks at lectures and seminars on topics including worker’s compensation, legal ethics, as well as orthopedic and spinal medicine. He resides in Springfield, Missouri with his amazing son Henry, who is a Minecraft aficionado. Mr. Moberg is an avid bowler and saxophonist, a voracious reader, and continues to explore his dual passions for law and medicine.
