Danielle Farha specializes in defending employers and insurance carriers’ interests in various workers’ compensation claims in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. Ms. Farha counsels employers and insurance carriers on the workers’ compensation process, including compliance with statutory requirements, effective claims handling, investigations and protecting subrogation interests.
Ms. Farha has successfully litigated claims in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. She has prevailed in both oral arguments and written briefs before the Kansas Court of Appeals. She routinely speaks to employers and attorneys in the workers’ compensation field, providing updates on Kansas and Missouri law, including a recent presentation before the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave and Phillips, Ms. Farha received her Juris Doctor from the University Of Kansas School Of Law. While in Law School, Ms. Farha was a student mentor for incoming first-year students and served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable John W. Lungstrum at the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Ms. Farha currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband, their cat, Frank Mason IV and their dog, Bo. They enjoy traveling, spending time with family and watching Jayhawk basketball.
