Francesca A. Romano

Francesca Romano is an associate attorney at McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips. She represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. She also conducts research and drafts legal memoranda and briefs on complex legal issues.

Before joining MVP, Ms. Romano received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Colorado State University.  After graduating from CSU, Ms. Romano worked in the oil and gas industry for a mineral acquisitions company.  She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2019 with a certificate in Litigation.  During her time at Creighton, Ms. Romano was a Student Article Editor for the Creighton Law Review, President of the Moot Court Board, and participated in various moot court and trial competitions.  She was awarded the David A. Svoboda Trial Advocacy Award as well as the Lyle E. Strom Trial Advocacy Award for demonstrating effective brief writing and oral advocacy skills.

Ms. Romano is an avid soccer player and spent a summer volunteering in Nitzana, Israel, coaching a team of Eritrean and Sudanese refugees.  She also enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and hiking.
