Jaswinder S. Nagra
Jaswinder Nagra is an associate in the Des Moines office. Jaswinder originally joined MVP Law as a summer law clerk in 2024. Jaswinder earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University law School in 2024. Jaswinder practices in the firm’s workers’ compensation practice group defending insurers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in Iowa and Missouri.Jaswinder spent his time in undergrad at the University of Iowa, ultimately graduating early from the University of Iowa in 2021. Following college Jaswinder pursued the goal of becoming the first Lawyer in his family. During his time at Drake Law School, Jaswinder engaged in a multitude of extracurricular activities including International Law Society, Young Lawyers Division, and Corporate Law Society. He also received his student license in the state of Iowa while in law school to help aid in the representation of indigent individuals through his time at the Drake Law School Criminal Defense Clinic.
Outside of fulfilling his career goals, Jaswinder spends most of his free time with his family and friends. Jaswinder also loves to be around cars, watching sports and operating a small business with his dad. Additionally, Jaswinder enjoys golfing and traveling to new places.
