LaceShionna N. Cline

Lace Cline is an associate in the firm's St. Louis office. She represents a variety of clients in Missouri and Iowa in defense of insurance claims involving casualty litigation, transportation, and wrongful death.

In 2019, Ms. Cline was awarded the Karl Blanchard, Jr. Outstanding Student Award by the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (“MODL”) Trial Academy, which is given to a student who went above the standards for participation in the Trial Academy as judged by MODL faculty members. In 2017, Ms. Cline graduated from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Bar Leadership Academy which is designed help emerging leaders of the legal profession develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to become leaders in both the profession and the community.

Prior to joining MVP, Ms. Cline served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis, Missouri and in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office in Kansas City, Missouri, where she tried multiple jury trials.

Ms. Cline graduated from the University Of Missouri School Of Law in 2015, where she also obtained a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. While in law school she served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Dispute Resolution. She was also a pupil of the Elwood L. Thomas American Inn of Court and a member of the nation’s oldest legal organization, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.

Ms. Cline currently lives in St. Louis. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, mentoring middle and high school students, and traveling.
