Catherine D. Goodnight
Catherine Goodnight has been practicing law for 23 years, and has defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation in Missouri for over 20 years. She has worked for private firms defending employers and their insurance carriers and has worked for the Attorney General’s office defending the Second Injury Fund.Catherine has defended thousands of cases, and has argued cases before the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, the Southern District Court of Appeals, and the Missouri Supreme Court.
Catherine practiced for a short time in Arkansas doing general litigation and property/title work before moving to Missouri with her husband. She has been a regular speaker on behalf of local health care providers, as well as a guest speaker for the Missouri Bar.
Catherine is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Arkansas Bar Association. She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Springfield, Missouri and serves on the Board for Greene County 4H Leaders Council. Outside of the office she enjoys attending Arkansas Razorback and Oklahoma State Cowboy sporting events and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and son, Charles.
