MVP in the Community

Since the beginning days of MVP in 1901, the community in which firm members live and work is a vital part of the success of the firm. Not only does MVP serve clients through legal practices, members of the firm have been involved in the community since day one. Founder E.S. McAnany was one of the organizers and served as the third President of the Mercantile Club, a precursor to the Kansas City, Kansas Area Chamber of Commerce. To this day, MVP attorneys are still active in the Kansas City, Kansas Chamber of Commerce along with a multitude of other community organizations.

Attorneys and team members at MVP volunteer their time to over 20 different organizations across our six states. MVP also supports many different charitable organizations, especially Kids Chance of America. Kids Chance is a charity near and dear to our hearts as it provides post-high school scholarships to children of workers killed or seriously injured on the job. Members of MVP serve on the Board of Directors for Kids Chance of Missouri and actively participate in fundraising events for other chapters across the Midwest.

Giving back to the community in which we live is an integral part of our culture at MVP. We strive to better the communities we live in and serve, guided by an underlying passion to make a difference. Check out some of the organizations supported by MVP:
