While at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Tom was the technical editor of the Urban Lawyer and had a case digest published on First Amendment implications in political speech. He often speaks on workers’ compensation for clients, industry groups and the bar.  He recently presented a program on permanent and total disability in Missouri at the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Annual Workers’ Compensation Institute.  Tom is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  He has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America® in workers’ compensation since 2012.
