Frank Matande
Frank Matande has been practicing law for over seven years. His practice is focused primarily on representing the interests of employers and carriers in various workers’ compensation matters in Kansas and Missouri. He also conducts research and drafts legal memoranda and briefs on complex legal issues.Mr. Matande was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa, and came to the United States in 2005 where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rockhurst University. While attending Rockhurst University, Mr. Matande was involved in many different on-campus organizations, including serving as President of his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, in his junior year. Mr. Matande subsequently returned to Zimbabwe for two and a half years before returning to the U.S. and obtaining his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2016. Mr. Matande joined MVP after practicing in the fields of criminal defense and insurance defense for two years, where he garnered an appreciation for advocating zealously for his clients.
Mr. Matande is an avid rugby fan, and has played with the Kansas City Blues Rugby Club, as well as the Topeka Rugby Football Club. He presently enjoys working out and keeping in shape, and is always on the lookout for an opportunity to dust off the old cleats and make his return to the rugby field.
