Abigail A. Wenninghoff
Abigail A. Wenninghoff is a shareholder working out of MVP’s Omaha, NE office. Ms. Wenninghoff has been practicing law for over 24 years, spending 14 years prior to joining MVP as a partner and owner of her own private practice.Over the last 20 years, Ms. Wenninghoff has provided workers’ compensation seminars and training for employers in both Iowa and Nebraska, insurance companies, brokers, and third-party administrators. She also regularly provides training to supervisors and risk managers on injury investigation based on the current law in Iowa and Nebraska.
Ms. Wenninghoff has served as a board member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Nebraska Bar from 2000 to present day, and was President from 2014-2015. In that capacity, she has served as a speaker on several legal topics including the interplay between Iowa and Nebraska Law and multi-jurisdiction litigation. She has also testified in the Nebraska legislature on pending workers’ compensation legislation.
Before beginning her legal career, Abigail earned both her Undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska. She has been admitted to the Nebraska Bar and U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, the Iowa Bar and District Court for the District of Iowa, and the United States Supreme Court.
