Brian M. Israel
Brian Israel has been practicing law since 2016. Prior to joining the team at MVP Law, Brian was both a prosecutor and a public defender. Having gained courtroom experience in criminal law, Brian joined MVP in 2021 and is a member of the civil litigation & insurance defense group.In addition to general liability matters, Brian handles trucking and commercial automobile liability defense for regional, national, and international logistics, transportation and delivery companies. Brian is also involved with retail liability, including the defense of restaurants, hotels and retailers for premises liability and wrongful death claims. He defends professional liability matters including the defense of attorney legal malpractice claims. Brian is proud to have been named as a “Rising Star” by Kansas and Missouri Super Lawyers.
Brian is engaged in various community and professional activities and organizations, including serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for his church and is a member of Leadership 2000, Class 36. Brian was raised in Leawood, Kansas and is married to his lovely wife, Caitlin, and has two dogs, Neville Longbottom and Bentley Rufus. Brian’s hobbies include cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, building Lego, smoking meats, and making woodfired pizzas.
