Carter D. Jensen

Carter is an associate in the St. Louis office, having joined MVP Law in August 2024. Carter joined MVP after clerking in the St. Louis office during law school and graduating in May 2024. Carter focuses his practice on representing the interest of employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters throughout the state of Missouri.

Originally from the Gold Coast, Australia, Carter came to the United States in 2017, where he attended Iowa Wesleyan University for his undergraduate degree. During his time at Iowa Wesleyan University, Carter was a member of the Football and Basketball team before graduating in December 2020. Carter then turned his attention to law school, choosing to attend Saint Louis University School of Law. While attending SLU LAW, Carter was a member of the SLU LAW BLSA Trial Team, finishing third in the Midwest region and in the top eight at the national championships. Carter also served as the Student Bar Association Vice President during the 2023-24 academic year.

Carter is an avid fan of almost all sports, particularly rugby union, which he played in Australia and resumed playing for the St. Louis Hornets. Carter is also a die-hard fan of St. Louis City Soccer and the St. Louis Blues.
