Chase J. Pumford

An experienced orator, Chase represents a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit business entities, governmental agencies, and homes associations in court and before various administrative bodies. In addition, he is also involved in a wide array of contractual and transactional matters as outside general counsel.

Chase graduated from Washburn University in 2017 majoring in Psychology. He competed in Debate and Mock Trial competitions while in college and secured multiple top finishes at the national level including a national championship in Persuasive Speaking. A litigator and competitor at heart, while in law school at the Washburn University School of Law, Chase competed in interscholastic trial competition and served as President of the Washburn Moot Court Council. He was admitted to the Order of the Barristers in recognition of his work in oral advocacy. He also was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing I. He later served as a teaching assistant for the same course. Committed to the integrity of the profession, Chase was a member of the Washburn Law Honor Code Committee.

Chase currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He enjoys spending time out on the golf course or watching the Chiefs and Royals.
