Jackson B. Hedges
Jackson is an associate practicing in the workers’ compensation group in the St. Louis office. Jackson regularly handles defense of workers’ compensation claims for a variety of Insurers, self-insured employers, and third party administrators while appearing before both the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He has taken multiple claims to trial resulting in successful outcomes for his clients. Jackson also specializes in handling defense of medical fee disputes pending before the Missouri Division of Workers’ Compensation and occupational accident policy claims filed as workers’ compensation claims.While in law school, Jackson was a member of Saint Louis University’s national moot court team and received the Judge Robert G. Dowd Sr. Award for excellence in appellate advocacy. Jackson also served as a TA for the intro to legal studies program and for Moot Court I and II. During his 2L year, Jackson clerked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Colleen Dolan of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Jackson also was a member of the Theodore McMillian American Inn of Court his 3L year. Jackson joined McAnany Van Cleave & Phillips originally as a summer law clerk in 2018.
Outside of work, Jackson enjoys supporting Illinois Fighting Illini athletics, exercising, and is a proud member of the Pizza Connoisseurs of St. Louis. He also volunteers with dog rescue organizations and is an avid fan of the St. Louis Battlehawks.
