Jodi J. Fox

Jodi Fox had no intention of going to law school.  While completing a master’s program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in Tulsa, she did an internship in the Human Resource Department of the City of Tulsa.  After being involved in labor negotiations, she became interested in employment law.  During law school she continued working at the City Attorney’s office as a municipal prosecutor and realized that she really enjoyed being in a court room.  After graduating from the University of Tulsa in 1998,  she continued working at the City Attorney’s office and eventually was assigned to do workers’ compensation.  She has been practicing exclusively in this area since 2000.

Jodi has used her interest in human resources and employment law to provide advice to her clients as well as her involvement with the Firm.  She has defended self-insured municipalities as well as small family owned business and large national companies and works to understand their business model and their business philosophies to assist in resolving their cases and developing strategies for limiting future exposure and getting employees back to work.

An AV rated attorney, Jodi has also been recognized as The Best of the Bar and as a Super Lawyer.  As a member of MVP, Jodi enjoys the amazing resource of attorney knowledge and experience and works hard on being a resource for younger lawyers as well as her clients.

In her spare time, Jodi enjoys running both alone and after her busy daughters.  Jodi and her husband Jeff spend most of their weekends watching their daughter’s various sporting events.  Their family also believes that it is important to give back to their community.  Jodi has served as a Girl Scout troop leader and is now serving on the Clay, Platte Ray Mental Health Board of Trustees.  Jodi’s husband Jeff is combat veteran and their family proudly supports soldiers and veterans particularly in the local VFW.
