Kathryn M. Dumovich

Kathryn Dumovich was born and raised in Kansas City and is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Kansas. Katie’s practice focuses on labor and employment as well as public sector representation and civil litigation. Katie’s labor and employment practice focuses on employment discrimination and traditional labor law.

Katie has experience in defense of public and private employers against claims under Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Section 1983, retaliation and whistleblower claims, and state employment law statutes.

While at Saint Louis University (“SLU”) School of Law, Katie was the Lead Managing Editor of the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law. She represented the journal at the 2022 ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Katie was Vice President of the First-Generation Society at SLU Law, which was a club consisting of first-generation law students. While at SLU as an undergraduate, Katie was involved in serving the St. Louis community as a recognized Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar.

Although Katie lived in St. Louis for many years, she remains a devout Kansas State fan and she can be found at many of the football games in Manhattan, KS. When the Wildcats aren’t playing, she may be seen at a Chiefs game or a KC Current game.
