Kelsy E. Allison

Kelsy Allison has been practicing law for over nine years. She has been with MVP her entire career. Her practice is focused on representing the interests of employers and carriers in various workers’ compensation matters in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska. She has successfully argued cases before the Kansas Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission. Kelsy often speaks on meditation and attorney wellness.

Before joining MVP, Kelsy received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Drury University. While attending Drury University, Kelsy was a member of the women’s soccer team and served as the team captain for three years. Kelsy subsequently obtained her Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2013. In 2013, Kelsy was awarded the Irvine E. Ungerman Award for her work in the Washburn Law Clinic representing indigent clients in various civil matters.

Kelsy was named on the Super Lawyers Rising Star list in 2021 and 2022 and selected for participation in the inagural class of the Kansas Bar Association Leadership Academy. Kelsy has served as the President of the Wyandotte County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Women’s Chamber Network Advisory Committee for the Kansas City, Kansas Chamber of Commerce and on the Drury University Regional Alumni Council. Kelsy is an avid Sporting KC fan. She enjoys playing soccer, golf, and listening to podcasts.
