Nate Lawyer
Nate Lawyer is a trial attorney out of the firm’s Tulsa office. His litigation focus is premises liability, product liability, and workers’ compensation throughout the state of Oklahoma. Nate also has experience with insurance law and personal injury. In 2023, he was recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers.Nate has been a Lawyer since birth, but he made it official in 2009 when he became a practicing attorney. Nate has successfully defended numerous companies, retailers, grocery stores, and insurance companies in lawsuits involving claims of premises liability, negligence, false imprisonment, product liability, and workers’ compensation. Nate often speaks at seminars for clients on ethics as well as workers’ compensation case-law updates. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Oklahoma, as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and all three United States District Courts in Oklahoma.
Nate grew up in Paris, Kentucky. He attended the College of Wooster, in Ohio for his Bachelor of Arts in history. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law. While a law student, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Law & Literature for achieving the highest grade.
Nate enjoys his free time by coaching his kids’ soccer teams, and enjoys traveling with his wife Molly, daughter Addie, and son Loch. His Tulsa County Bar Association bowling team has won the league championship in 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2023. Also, look for Nate as an extra in the major motion picture, “Killers of the Flower Moon”.
