Nicholas E. Moorad
Nicholas E. Moorad, II is a civil litigation attorney who primarily represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers' compensation claims. Nick also has experience in the areas of insurance law, employment law, business litigation and personal injury.Nick has successfully defended employers and insurance carriers in all phases of Oklahoma workers’ compensation litigation and appeal. He has given many presentations to clients at numerous workers’ compensation seminars. Prior to working for McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, Nick worked for a private law firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he specialized in the fields of workers’ compensation and personal injury litigation. He also clerked for the Honorable Jacqueline Miller at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, where he assisted with public utility, transportation and oil & gas matters before the Commission.
Nick attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in political science. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While a student at OCU, Nick received the CALI Excellence award for Administrative Law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and American Bar Association.
Nick enjoys golfing, running, traveling, serving at his local church and spending time with family and friends in his spare time. He lives in the Tulsa metro area with his wife and sons.
