Rashad L. Kirksey
Rashad Kirksey is an associate in the Firm’s St. Louis office. Originally an Arkansas native, Rashad is now a Missouri resident where he is admitted to practice law. Rashad practices in the firm's civil litigation and insurance defense practice group. He joined MVP Law as a Summer Clerk in 2023.Rashad attended and graduated Arkansas State University Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in May of 2021. While in undergrad, Rashad served as the Student Body President and was awarded the R. E. Lee Wilson Award, the University’s outstanding graduating senior selected on the basis of character, determination, involvement, and academic achievement. He then attended the University of Missouri where he obtained his Juris Doctor, graduating in May of 2024.While in law school, Rashad was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Lawyering, a course in problem solving and dispute resolution, for achieving the highest grade. He also participated in several mock trial competitions, including the National Black Law Student Association and the Missouri Attorney General’s Cup Competition.
Outside of practicing law, Rashad enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, fine arts, volunteering to help those less fortunate, and reading.
