Samantha N. Benjamin-House
Samantha Benjamin-House is an AV-rated attorney who specializes in defending employers’ and insurance carriers’ interests in workers’ compensation claims in Kansas and Missouri.

Samantha’s expertise includes successfully defending issues involving jurisdiction, occupational diseases, statute of limitations defense, safety defense, and other litigation matters. She has successfully argued before the various appellate levels in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas including the Courts of Appeal. She is an avid speaker with many presentations performed yearly, including speaking at both the state of Kansas and state of Missouri’s annual Workers’ Compensation seminars.
When Samantha is not representing the interests of employers and insurance carriers, she is very active in the community. As a shareholder with McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A., she has sat on the Missouri Bar Association’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Committee. She was the 2006 recipient of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City’s Public Service Award. She is an active board member in a not-for-profit mental health agency and is also active in Big Brothers Big Sisters. In her free time she enjoys fishing, gourmet cooking and traveling with her family.
