Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska, announced new workers’ compensation benefit rates that are effective July 1, 2026.
Kansas
The maximum weekly benefit rate increased to $905.00 for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The mileage reimbursement rate increased to $0.725 per mile effective July 1, 2026.
Missouri
The maximum weekly benefit rate has increased to $1,294.71 for TTD, PTD and Death for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The maximum PPD benefit rate has increased to $678.18 for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The mileage reimbursement rate increased to $0.695 a mile effective July 1, 2026.
Iowa
The benefit and mileage rate changes are effective for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 in Iowa.
The maximum weekly benefit rate for TTD, HP, PTD and Death has increased to $2,431.00.
The maximum PPD benefit rate has increased to $2,237.00.
The mileage reimbursement rate has increased to $0.725 per mile.
Nebraska
The burial allowance increased to $12,200.00 effective July 1, 2026.
Illinois
Illinois is scheduled to release the updated benefit rates on July 15, 2026. This post will be updated when the rates are released.
