MVP Law welcomes Caroline Mudd to the workers’ compensation defense practice group in Kansas City. Caroline started her workers’ compensation career at MVP Law in 2007 and rejoined the firm in 2024. She most recently served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Kansas City, MO, defending the City in workers’ compensation matters.
Caroline represents employers and insurance carriers through all phases of workers’ compensation matters in both Kansas and Missouri. Caroline’s experience in the workers’ compensation field, including private practice as a defense attorney and as a plaintiff’s attorney, and her work for the City gives her a unique perspective when defending cases.
Caroline earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law where she served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of Dispute Resolution. Caroline resides in Kansas City with her family and is actively involved as a volunteer on the School Board at her children’s school.
