2022 MVP Law Seminar – Des Moines

Join MVP Law for this free one day seminar on September 22nd in West Des Moines. Topics of interest include workers’ compensation updates in Iowa & Nebraska, industrial disability, shoulder injury updates and more! You won’t want to miss out on this day of learning, networking, and the opportunity to earn CEU’s. The 2022 Seminar will be offered in person at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel or virtually through live streaming.

Continuing Education Credits 

The seminar is approved for continuing education credits for the following certifications: 

Texas Insurance Adjusters 

  • 6 Hours of General Credits, 1 Hour of Ethics Credits

Oklahoma Insurance Adjusters

  • 6 Hours of General Credits, 1 Hour of Ethics Credits

Kansas Insurance Producers

  • 6 Hours of General Credits, 1 Hour of Ethics Credits

SHRM & HRCI

  • 5.75 Total Hours

Missouri CLE

  • 7 Hours Total including 1 Hour of Ethics

Kansas CLE

  • 7 Hours

Nebraska CLE

  • 5.83 Hours

Iowa CLE 

  • 5.75 including .75 Hours of Ethics

If you need HRCI Credits, SHRM or Attorney CLE, you will be able to choose any sessions to attend.  For HRCI, SHRM or Attorney CLE, partial credit is available. 

In order to receive continuing education credit hours for the Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas Departments of Insurance, attendees must be present for the entire session: Ethics – 8:25-9:15am, Morning Seminar – 9:20-12:05pm, and/or Afternoon Seminar – 1:00-4:00pm.  Partial credit hours are not available. 

Please note that the seminar will start with the 1 hour ethics credit from 8:25am – 9:15 am, the morning employment law seminar will run from 9:20am – 12:05 pm and is approved for 3 general hours, and the afternoon workers’ compensation session runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and is approved for 3 general hours.

These requirements count for both in person and virtual attendees. If you attend virtually, you will be required to answer poll questions in each session.

If you need continuing education for another discipline, we will have certificates of attendance available at the end of the morning session, and at the end of the day that you can use for submissions.
