MVP Law Kansas City Seminar 2021

We are so excited to host our Kansas City Seminar in 2021, even if it may look a little different! For the health and safety for all of those involved in presenting, attending, and staffing the seminar, we are reimagining our Kansas City Seminar from an in-person event to a fully virtual event. With the current increase of COVID-19 cases in our community, our local health officials advised us against hosting our event in person at this time. This decision was not made lightly and we are so disappointed to have to change the format of this event as we were excited to see you in person. We hope you will join us from your home or office on August 19th, 2021 for an interactive day of remote learning.

What does that look like exactly? We are once again using the Whova event app to enhance our seminar. Now that we are going virtual, it will all be accessed through this platform. Our attorneys will still be hosting live presentations and we will have some pre-recorded options as well. All of the content will be available to registrants after August 19th, so there is the added bonus of not having to choose between two topics that occur at the same time! We miss seeing you in person, but we are excited for the opportunity to see you on video meet-ups and chats throughout the day. We hope you will take advantage of all the tools offered through Whova to say hi to colleagues you haven’t seen in a while or even make some new connections.

We are finalizing the change with all of the continuing education organizations. Continuing education credits for the following should be available:
– OK, TX & KS Insurance Adjusters & Producers – 7 Hours Total Including 1 hour of Ethics*
– SHRM Recertification Credits – 5.75 Hours Total
– HRCI Recertification Credits – 5.75 Hours Total
– Kansas & Missouri CLE – 7 Hours Total Including 1 Hour of Ethics
– Nebraska CLE – 5.83 Hours Total
– Iowa CLE – 5.75 Hours Total Including .75 Hours of Ethics

*Partial credit is not available. The time blocks for OK, TX & KS are listed below.
8:25 – 9:15 am – Ethics Credit
9:20 – 12:05pm – 3 Hours of General Credit
1:00 – 4:00pm – 3 Hours of General Credit

In order to earn the continuing education that you need, you must participate on August 19th by viewing the sessions at their original offered time and answering poll questions. More information will be provided to those registrants who wish to earn continuing education credits.

It wouldn’t be an MVP Seminar without seminar books and t-shirts, and this year is no different! Instead of standing in line to grab your gear, your gear is coming directly to you! The materials were ordered to be ready for August 19th in person, so please allow for a few additional days for us to receive the books and t-shirts and to package and mail the items to you. During the seminar, the materials will also be available electronically if you’d like to make notes as you go.
