MVP Law is pleased to announce that two attorneys, Frank Matande and Rebecca Long, were elected to shareholder at the firm’s annual meeting on January 27th, 2024. Congratulations to Frank and Rebecca!
Frank Matande‘s practice focuses primarily on representing the interests of employers and carriers in various workers’ compensation matters in Kansas and Missouri. Frank joined MVP after practicing in the fields of criminal defense and insurance defense for two years, where he garnered an appreciation for advocating zealously for his clients. Frank earned his J.D. from Washburn University and is located in the Kansas City office. After work, Frank can be found looking for an opportunity to dust off his rugby cleats and make a return to the field.
Rebecca Long represents employers and insurance carriers in defending workers’ compensation claims in Missouri and Illinois. Rebecca earned her J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law and practices out of the St. Louis office. She is a committee member of the Women in the Profession Committee and Workers’ Compensation Law Committee of the Missouri Bar. In her free time, Rebecca can be found watching her sons play hockey and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.
