2022 Changes to Workers’ Compensation Benefit Rates

Updates to Oklahoma, Illinois, Nebraska and Arkansas workers’ compensation benefit rates have been announced.

OKLAHOMA: The maximum rate for TTD & PTD benefits increases to $953.18 per week. The mileage reimbursement rate increases to $0.585/mile. These changes are in effect beginning January 1, 2022.

ILLINOIS: The TTD maximum rate increases to $1,734.83 per week, the PPD maximum rate increases to $937.11 (revised by the State after initial posting in 2021), and the Death, PTD and PPD maximum rate pertaining to an amputation or enucleation of an eye increases to $1,734.83 per week. The minimum rates have also all increased and can be found on the rate card. The mileage reimbursement rate increases to $0.585/mile. The PPD maximum benefit rate, for injuries other than amputation and enucleation of the eye, is effective from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. The other changes are in effect beginning on January 15, 2022.

NEBRASKA: The maximum weekly income benefit increases to $983.00. The mileage reimbursement rate increases to $0.585/mile. These changes are in effect beginning January 1, 2022.

ARKANSAS: The maximum rate for PTD and TTD increases to $790.00 and the maximum rate for PPD increases to $593.00. These changes are in effect beginning January 1, 2022.

The IRS mileage rate for 2022 is $0.585/mile.
