McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) announces George Halper’s retirement from the firm, with his last day being March 14, 2025. A shareholder with MVP Law, George joined the firm in 2000 and served clients in Kansas and Missouri. Prior to joining MVP Law, George began his legal career in 1984 and worked for several major Kansas City law firms.
Throughout his career, George’s practice focused on several areas of the law. He represented businesses, professionals, and individuals in a broad range of legal matters, including civil litigation, creditors’ rights, business law, real estate law, estate planning and probate matters, and domestic relations and family law. George was recognized on the Best Lawyers in America Kansas City list from 2013-2025.
We wish George all the best in his well-deserved retirement and extend our thanks for the dedication he has shown to the firm and his clients over the last 25 years.
