The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
Five MVP Law attorneys have also been selected to the 2022 Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars list.
- Kelsy Allison – Workers’ Compensation
- Gabriel Greenbaum – Business Litigation
- Brian Israel – Civil Litigation: Defense
- Kristina Mulvany – Workers’ Compensation

Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Attorneys are eligible for Rising Stars if they are forty or younger or have been in practice for ten years or less.
After being notified of his inclusion on the Rising Stars List for 2022, Brian Israel chatted with Super Lawyers about his unique hobby. Dubbed the “Lego Litigator” in the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers magazine, Brian enjoys sharing his passion with others. When you walk into Brian’s office, impressive Lego builds fill the bookcase shelves. His favorite is the typewriter seen in the left of the photo as many can’t believe it’s made of Lego!
