At the annual MVP Law Shareholder meeting on January 27th, Shelley Wilson and Greg Goheen were elected to fill Board of Director positions made vacant by term limits. Rachel Brown, Vice President, Jodi Fox, Secretary, and Shelley Wilson make firm history as 2024 is the first year that three female shareholders will serve on the Board of Directors together.
The firm remains under the leadership of Byron Bowles as President and CEO. We would like to thank David Menghini and Brent Neumeyer for their service on the Board the last four years.
Shelley Wilson is a shareholder in the firm’s St. Louis office and leads the MVP mentoring program. Shelley focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense in Missouri and Illinois and has 25 years of experience. She frequently counsels employers, human resource representatives, safety coordinators, and insurance carriers on the effective prevention and handling of work injuries and reducing the costs associated with workplace accidents. Shelley enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on Mizzou and the Fighting Illini.
Greg Goheen returns to the Board of Directors after stepping down in 2023 due to term limits. Greg is a shareholder in the Kansas City office and his practice primarily consists of complex civil litigation at both the appellate and trial levels in state and federal courts. He represents clients in virtually all types of commercial and business litigation, including all areas of employment and real estate law. Greg has practiced with MVP since 1993 and is active in many professional and community organizations including serving on the Council of School Attorney’s Steering Committee.
The returning members of the Board of Directors include Byron Bowles, Rachel Brown, Jodi Fox, Patrick Parr, Christopher Patt, and Karl Wenger.
