MVP Law Elects New Members to the Board of Directors and New Shareholders

At MVP Law’s Annual Shareholder Meeting, Jodi Fox & Karl Wenger were elected to the firm’s Board of Directors. The position vacancies, created by term limits, allowed Byron Bowles and Thomas Walsh to step down from the Board after serving for the last four years.

Jodi J. Fox

Jodi Fox joins the MVP Board of Directors for the second time. Jodi is an AV rated attorney who focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters throughout Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. She is located in the Kansas City office and has been practicing workers’ compensation defense for the last 20 years. Jodi supports her community by serving on the Clay, Platte & Ray County Mental Health Board of Trustees and by supporting soldiers and veterans, particularly in the local VFW.

Karl L. Wenger

Karl Wenger has been with MVP his entire legal career and has 12 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense. Located in the MVP Kansas City office, he successfully defends workers’ compensation claims for self-insured employers and insurance carriers in both Kansas and Missouri.  Karl also chairs the MVP recruitment committee and is actively involved with the Kansas Department of Labor Workers’ Compensation Seminar committee.

Shareholders

MVP Law is proud to announce one new equity shareholder, Alan Fogleman, and two new shareholders, Catherine Goodnight & Andrew (AJ) Sheehan. New shareholders were voted in at the MVP Law Annual Shareholder Meeting.

Alan T. Fogleman

Alan Fogleman is a member of the civil litigation and insurance defense practice group and regularly handles trucking and commercial automobile liability matters. Alan’s practice expands to clients in multiple states including Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. He also serves on the KCK Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list the past three years.

Catherine D. Goodnight

Catherine Goodnight has defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation in Missouri for over 17 years. She practices out of the MVP Springfield, MO office and is involved in local organizations including the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Springfield, MO.

Andrew J. Sheehan

Andrew (AJ) Sheehan practices out of the firm’s Springfield, Illinois office and has defended workers’ compensation matters throughout Illinois and Missouri since 2015. AJ enjoys speaking at various workers’ compensation seminars and conferences about unique issues facing Illinois employers and the impacts of the changing landscape of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act.
